John 21:15-19, Follow Jesus

…He said this to indicate by what kind of death Peter would glorify God.  After saying this, he told him, “Follow me.”

‭‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭19‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Read Context

Jesus first and last conversation with Peter were the words “follow Me”.  This strikes me as Jesus most enduring message…not just for Peter, but for us today.  If we follow in the way of Jesus, we will be living the way God created us to.  We will have God with us and will experience all of life with God, rather than in opposition to God.

Lord, help me to follow you in thought and deed!
