John 19:28-42, Prophecy Fulfilled

“For these things happened so that the Scripture would be fulfilled:  Not one of his bones will be broken. Also, another Scripture says: They will look at the one they pierced.”

‭‭John‬ ‭19‬:‭36‬-‭37‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Read Context

Some of the ways that prophecy was fulfilled could have been organized by Jesus.  For example, riding into town on a donkey.  But things that happened after His death, even by people who were secretly His followers would have been impossible to plan ahead.  These type of things give additional credibility to the plan for redemption of God the Father!  This was not some faked plot by Jesus to pull one over on people.

Lord, help me to live for You after all that You have done for me.
