Psalm 125- Anxiety or Peace?

“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion. It cannot be shaken; it remains forever. The mountains surround Jerusalem and the Lord surrounds his people, both now and forever. Do what is good, Lord, to the good, to those whose hearts are upright.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭125‬:‭1‬-‭2‬, ‭4‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Read Context

What an incredible promise, to be unshakable.  Or in other words, trusting God steadies our ability to withstand any kind of trouble.  Notice it does not say that we won’t face trials, suffering or hardship…rather, when we do, we have no need to be anxious, rattled or fearful.  God is able to navigate through any storm while we run to Him for strength and endurance.  His promise is to be with us and surround us with unexplainable peace, joy and satisfaction.

Which do you want?  Peace, joy and satisfaction or fear, unrest and anxieties?  Shockingly, the choice is mine, I choose trusting God and the Joy, Confidence and Peace that flows directly from Jesus!
