9By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.

What an amazing display of love, Christ sent to earth to die for a world full of sinners and undeserved people. I think the worst part of this story is the fact that most of those He died for will not believe until His glorious return. They will continue in sin, hating God with their actions and hearts.
I am so thankful for my salvation!
