Job 14-16, Honest Suffering

“Earth, do not cover my blood; may my cry for help find no resting place.  Even now my witness is in heaven, and my advocate is in the heights! ”

‭‭Job‬ ‭16‬:‭18‬-‭19‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Read Context

Lord, what a blessing that we can come to You with our suffering.  We can cry out to You when life is discouraging and disappointing.  We can tell You how much we hate the pain we are enduring…

And You are always there, not offended or irritated, but caring, loving and ready to strengthen us.  Our desire is that You eliminate the suffering, but oftentimes it is the suffering that deepens our knowledge of Your presence.
