Numbers 26-27, Promises Kept

“But among them there was not one of those who had been registered by Moses and the priest Aaron when they registered the Israelites in the Wilderness of Sinai.  For the Lord had said to them that they would all die in the wilderness. None of them was left except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭26‬:‭64‬-‭65‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Read Context

God keeps his promises and interestingly after these 40 years in the desert, their numbers have not changed much.  I wonder if He did that intentionally to demonstrate that they had the same strength both times they approached the promised land.  The first time they doubted God, the second time they trusted Him!
